I photograph the in-between

The laughs between the posed shots. The look you give each other when you think nobody's watching. The kid who will not stand still — especially that one. Those are the photos you'll still love in twenty years, so those are the ones I chase.

I'm based in Mooresville and shoot all around Lake Norman and Charlotte: weddings, growing families, senior year, brand-new babies and very good dogs. Sessions are guided and relaxed — no stiff poses, no awkward "now look at each other," just natural light and a lot of laughing.
